Meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions in Spain’s leading MICE hub. Convention centres, modernist venues, hotel ballrooms and full delegate logistics, handled by one local team.
Tuset DMC / MICE Barcelona
Barcelona has been a top global MICE city for decades, ranked year after year among the world’s leading destinations for conferences and conventions. Behind that ranking sits real infrastructure: Fira de Barcelona venues with hundreds of thousands of square metres, CCIB, an airport hub with direct flights from every major capital, and a hotel inventory dense enough to absorb conferences of any scale without breaking attendance.
Tuset DMC runs MICE events in Barcelona as an operator on the ground, with offices in the city, so meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions all sit with the same team from the first brief to the last departure transfer.
Whether the brief is a closed-door board session or a city-wide convention, the same Barcelona team builds it, runs it and signs off when the last delegate leaves.
Corporate meetings, board sessions, sales reviews and partner workshops in Barcelona, hosted in private venues, hotel boardrooms or design spaces in the 22@ tech district.
Incentive travel programmes that pair city culture with rewards: gastronomy, Gaudí walks, exclusive private dinners, sailing along the Mediterranean and curated guest experiences.
Conferences and conventions for hundreds to thousands of delegates, in CCIB, Fira de Barcelona, five-star ballrooms and university auditoriums, with full plenary and breakout support.
Exhibitions, trade shows and brand-led business events at Fira Gran Via and Fira Montjuïc, with stand build-up, accreditation flows and on-site event management included.

And the soft layer matters too. Barcelona delegates leave with a destination experience, not just a meeting. Architecture, food, climate, walkability and Mediterranean evenings turn the days outside the plenary into the reason they want to come back. Attendance and renewal rates reflect that.
Four venue ecosystems, each fitted to a different MICE format. We match the right setting to the audience, the agenda and the production scale.
CCIB, Fira Gran Via and Fira Montjuïc for large-format conferences, conventions and exhibitions with the capacity, AV and logistical depth most cities cannot offer.
Conference-ready ballrooms with breakout rooms, in-house catering and integrated room blocks for delegates, ideal for mid-size meetings and corporate galas.
Modernist buildings, historic palaces and museums in the Gothic Quarter and the Eixample, made for incentive dinners, opening receptions and high-profile evenings.
Design lofts and innovation venues in Poblenou and the 22@ district for product summits, partner events and meetings with a digital-native audience.
A MICE event in the city has its own rhythm. Venues book early, hotels lock up fast, suppliers stretch thin during congress season. Running it well takes a team based in Barcelona, not a generic agency coordinating remotely.
Backed by Tuset Eventos with 20+ years and 400+ vetted suppliers, our DMC Barcelona team works the city every week. We know which venues deliver in real life, which hotels protect the room block and which suppliers actually meet the deadline.
From El Prat arrival flows to hotel blocks, transfers, registration desks, badges, evening transport and departure waves, the delegate journey is mapped and managed end to end so attendance feels effortless.
During MWC, ISE and congress weeks the city sells out. Our standing relationships across CCIB, Fira and the five-star hotels secure the right venue and the right rates before competing dates close in.
Insurance, permits, accessibility, GDPR-compliant data flows, multilingual staffing and ESG-aligned suppliers are built into every Barcelona MICE programme, not invoiced as extras at the end.
We map the format (meeting, incentive, conference, exhibition), delegate numbers, dates and budget, and lock the metrics that define success.
We propose Barcelona venues and event design aligned with the scope, with clear capacity, layout and cost options for each route.
Once approved, we coordinate hotel blocks, transfers, AV, production, catering, registration and on-site staffing into one master schedule.
Our team runs the event on the ground with a dedicated project lead, on-site host and supplier coordination, so the brand’s people stay out of operational firefighting.

Reviews
From boardroom meetings of ten to congresses of several thousand delegates. Fira Gran Via and CCIB regularly host events of five and ten thousand attendees with full hotel coverage, while smaller mid-size meetings fit comfortably across the city’s five-star hotel inventory and unique venues.
Significantly. Late February and early March (MWC) and late January-February (ISE) lock up city hotels and most large venues. We track the congress calendar from the start and tell you upfront if your target dates collide, so you can adjust or book very early.
Yes. Hotel sourcing, room blocks, group rates and delegate housing portals are part of our MICE service. Barcelona’s hotel inventory is large but concentrated by category, so we negotiate centrally and protect the rates against late-window inflation.
Almost always. The conference floor is one part of the trip. We design pre and post programmes around Gaudí walks, gastronomy experiences with Michelin restaurants, sailing the Mediterranean, Montserrat day trips and curated private dinners, so delegates take a destination experience home, not just a badge.
We design with ESG-aligned suppliers, measurable footprint reporting and Biosphere-certified options where the brief requires it. Catering, transport, materials and digital flows are reviewed against sustainability targets before the programme is locked.
For conferences above two hundred delegates, twelve to eighteen months is the safe window. Smaller meetings and incentives can run on three to six months. During congress and exhibition weeks the city moves on different rules, so the earlier we know the dates, the better the deal we lock in.
